Colorado Bound!

ColoradoMR

I am headed out with the hubby to Colorado tomorrow for a 10 day excursion! We are taking our Jeep and have many spots on our list to hit… Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods, Pike’s Peak, Denver, Boulder, Estes Park… as well as Jeep trails and with a few abandoned mining towns scattered in.

Once we return I will be back in the swing of things. I’ll have ready to post an October wedding, newborn session, an amazing Christmas inspired baby session, senior session, engagement session and last but not least a family session. So for now goodbye – I will be seeing you later in the month of December!

2011 World Series Champions | St. Louis Cardinals!!!

Cards_WS_Parade_2011-9

Being the avid Cardinals fan that I am I of course had to go to the parade this past Sunday to congratulate the players for winning! I brought my camera with me and spent the entire parade either on my husbands shoulders or dangling with 1 foot hanging off of a tree trying to get the best shots that I could! I didn’t get all of the players… some of them were giving interviews while they were driving past or they had their heads turned for whatever reason but I got the majority!

Thank you Cardinals winning it all yet again – see you next year!

Busch Stadium Print + Happy Hour Handbook

HappyHourHandbook_0411_MR

For those of you who do not know yet what the Happy Hour Handbook is, it’s a local pocket-sized book with daily drink and food specials for the downtown St. Louis area and it is printed on a monthly basis. Ryan over there asked to use my image for the April “Cardinal” themed issue. I was very honored! Pick one up next time you are in a downtown/Soulard bar or restaurant!

“The Beholder”

FoxTheater_1_MR

My Fox Theatre print was picked for The Photo Junkies daily photo fix. For those of you who may not know of this blog, it is a St. Louis based blog that caters to – well – Photo Junkies! It’s a great place to share your photography knowledge with other photographers local and also not local. Thanks TPJ’s! – Christina

Historic winter storm moving into St. Louis!

Jeep_Farm_Winter1_MR

We are getting ready here in St. Louis for the mother of all winter storms (for us at least). They say it will be bigger than the last one we had which was back in 1982. They are expecting up to 24″ in Wentzville where I am located. I am all bundled up by my iMac ready for it – as long as we don’t lose power I am good to go. :) I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am very excited for it, I love snow! Here is my Jeep from our last snow where we got around 6″. Once this new snow comes, I will post some more pics!
