MEET THE PHOTOGRAPHER
NICE TO MEET YOU
Hi! I’m Christina! I was born and raised in the heart of the Midwest. I love everything about this part of the country – from the gorgeous rural communities all the way to the baseball capital of the world. I was lucky enough to meet the love of my life, Chris, at age 16 and we have been together ever since. He is also my second shooter at weddings and comes along to sessions from time to time. We have a handsome Australian Shepherd named Oskar who is our four-legged child. We travel any chance we get – and are always up to traveling for work! I am also a devoted Apple and Canon user – loyal to the core!
My background started in Graphic Design where I put words and images together to create a piece that people were able to touch and feel. While I was in school I fell in love with photography. I kept it only as a hobby at first, then in 2010 I decided to take a chance. I learned that in order to be happy in life we stometimes need to get scared. I quit my cozy job and started Charisma Photography full time – and I have never looked back!
Photographs provide a tangible record of a family’s history and the passage of time. They allow you to relive and share the special moments, milestones, and experiences in a family’s life – and that is may aim with all of my work.

Christina was such a delight to work with! She took all of my family’s ideas and she made them come to life. She had my son giggling the whole session and truly captured the love. Christina also contacted me back the same day as my initial inquiry and had my photos ready in what seems like record time. Words cannot describe the magic that Christina and Chris were able to capture through my engagement and wedding! Christina worked with us through scheduling issues, was able to make a freezing cold engagment shoot easy and fun while keeping it short ;). The memories she was able to capture for me from the wedding are beyond what I could've hoped for! I can quit looking at them and plan to print them all! So many candid of family and friend in their utmost finest moment that I will cherish for a life time. I cannot thank these two enough and cannot wait to have them capture my families future moments.

Hands down the best photographer. Christina did an awesome job with our engagement photos and even a better job with our wedding. And i can't forget her husband, Chris, who was also awesome to work with. Made these photos forever. It even made it better when we got our furbaby, Bear (dog), involved with our engagement photos. Would definitely use again in the future.

Charisma did an outstanding job for our June 2019 wedding! From the very beginning we knew Christina was right for the job. We met with her prior to signing the contract, and she was sure to go over every single detail and answered any question we had. After signing the contract, we picked a day for engagement pictures and Christina offered multiple different locations of great spots to take photos. It was so much fun getting to know her during our session and we enjoyed those couple hours! The turn around time for receiving our engagement photos was extremely quick and they turned out great! Once it got closer to the big day we met another time and hashed out all the details for the day of. We went to the venue and she mapped out places to take pictures and then we made a very detailed list of what photos to take and who would be in them. Christina brought this same list the day of the wedding and would check off each photo after we took it. I loved this because it ensured we got all the pictures we wanted and everything was so much more organized! Chris and Christina were a great team and literally captured every minute of our big day. They were so much fun to work with and we couldn't have been happier. The photos turned out amazing and have received so many compliments from friends and family! I also want to mention that the gallery Christina uses to upload pictures is very user friendly and so easy to share! We are so thankful for Chris and Christina and could not be happier with how well our pictures turned out. Documenting our big day was extremely important to us and they did not disappoint!

Christina is a dream to work with! I would recommend her to anyone. We used her for our wedding package and I just first want to say how affordable her all inclusive package is compared to other photographers. She is very experienced, professional, and knowledgeable. She helped guide us through the structure of our wedding day (which I didn't even realize I would need so much help with!) and she made it so personal. Christina is absolutely amazing to work with. She did our wedding on 11/12/18 and it was so much fun. We hoped for snow on our wedding day, and we got it. Christina has so much energy and an amazing personality to work with. Plus she didn’t have any issues running around downtown Hermann, MO in the freezing weather and snow to make our photos exactly what we wanted. We are so excited to see the final results. Christina was joy to work with! She is so friendly and makes getting your picture taken a completely fun experience, instead of what could be very awkward. She listened to what we envisioned for engagement photos and used her professional eye to create amazing photographs! I will definitely use her again when the time comes. For our wedding, she knew the venue, so she already knew the best spots to take photos! The best lighting and places for shade, so it made the process of everything very easy. We are so happy we chose Christina and Charisma Photo for our wedding. Christina was very easy to work with and communicate with throughout the entire planning process. She did a great job making us feel as comfortable as possible for both our engagement photos and on our wedding day. It rained before our ceremony but you can’t tell in any of the photos. She was a champion with capturing all of the family photos I requested after the ceremony and making sure to get good candids throughout the day. Having her second shooter was great for getting another angle of the action. We had our first teaser within a week of the wedding and almost every week after we received more edited photos. The USB with the high-resolution images came in a nice wooden box that will be great for storing prints. We couldn’t be happier!

After much deliberation and research, we decided to go with Charisma Photography for our wedding in August of 2018. We started out with engagement pictures in the fall of 2017, which gave us a good chance to meet Christina and her husband. We knew after that session that she would be great keeping everything in order and on track for our large family and wedding party. On the wedding day, Christina was amazing. She took charge and was able to capture every photo we could dream of. She was also down to earth, worked well with our videographers, and respectful of our family and friends. The lighting and quality is great, and we have so many pictures to choose from when it comes to sharing on social media and developing for albums and our home. As a planner/detailed oriented person myself, Christina made me feel at ease throughout the whole process that she had everything under control. She also remained organized and responsive, and was very timely in getting us our completed images. I recommend Christina and Charisma to anyone looking for professional photography for their wedding or other events, and would use her again in the future in a heartbeat!

Wow! Christina is so talented and professional! She was such a joy to work with for our engagement and wedding photos. She has a way of capturing the moment without necessarily noticing that she's even there! She is down to earth, yet very passionate and artistic in her photography! I worked with Christina in February 2016. It was my first time having a professional photoshoot for my online-based, spiritual business -- so undertandably I was *very* nervous and had no idea what to expect. Christina assured me I could email her questions and concerns at any time prior to my session with her. And I did. She walked me through the process and made me feel extremely comfortable.
